Sing to that primal force, the creating one, who with that first explosion of light said also, let there be life, and life was – spring bud unfolding in it’s delicate beauty. Sing to that great organizer of chaos, who continually builds from terror and ashes matter and meaning. When that butterfly effect which ends in entropy and death overwhelmed, said, let us dwell among man and make a way to life again. Sing to the one who continually creates. Who brings spring again after winter. Who makes the tree veins of the world bloom again – green from every twiggy tip.

New work to do! Yay! Must get started… A 35″ x 27 ” Hawaiian themed piece for a guest bedroom that’s being redecorated. Today I shopped online for acrylic paints and gessoboard. I had to get a more standard size of 36″ x 24″, otherwise I’d have to somehow custom cut/make the panel which I don’t want to do. I also did some sketching. Here’s a mix of some preliminary sketches, inspiration, and the fabric swatches and idea printouts from the client
